My approach to teaching is to treat each player as a unique individual. There is no 'one-size-fits-all'. Whether your interest is acoustic guitar as a support for your singing, electric guitar rhythm, fills or lead, it's important for the teacher to show you what you need to know.

My personal approach is to combine an understanding of the mechanics of music with a desire to play 'in the moment'. This means knowing the chords and how they work together; it means knowing how to write and read a chord chart; it means knowing how to play with other musicians.

 

I am also a recording engineer and producer of music on digital platforms. I can show you how to use microphones, how to use a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), how to Mix and Master you music and produce 'Wave' and Mp3 files.
